Ever hopeful candidates for Senate offices put in a last word to voters at the door to the polls. The New Christy Minstrels performed ballads to a packed gymnasium in one of the year's entertainment highlights. Many shifts in officers called for numerous elections. Planning committees for grievances, publicity, and entertainment were formed. Longer dormitory hours for women, more all college dances, the New Christy Minstrels, and a Vietnam Memorial Fund in memory of Northeastern graduates who have given their lives in the war were the major achievements of the year for the Senate. iso lo gi Work, honors, parties, more work, frustration, fulfillment-all marked 1968 for the Tsa La Gi staff. The thrill of honorable mention nationally by Pi Delta Epsilon and a superior rating at the Oklahoma Collegiate Press Association of the 1967 Tsa La Gi spurred staff members. The loss of section editors at mid-term was a blow but replacements and the stayers came through with colors flying, even when the sponsor broke her hip the last of April.
