Many shifts in officers called for numerous elections. Planning committees for grievances, publicity, and entertainment were formed. Longer dormitory hours for women, more all college dances, the New Christy Minstrels, and a Vietnam Memorial Fund in memory of Northeastern graduates who have given their lives in the war were the major achievements of the year for the Senate.
