A MESSAGE FROM ail THE PRESIDENT .... Dr. Bruce G. Carter Northeastern @klahoma A. M. College BRUCE G. CARTER, PRESIDENT Miami, Oklahoma Northeastern A M at Miami, like most of the other good colleges across the nation, is growing and developing quite rapidly. Forty- seven years ago, in 1919, the state legislature of Oklahoma created and made provisions for the establishment of a two year college at Miami. The college has grown and developed little by little until nearly two thousand students are enrolled at the present time. Nine new buildings are currently under construction or will be under construction by the time this publication goes to press. These new buildings will allow for some of the finest housing in America, and they will also provide excellent classrooms, laboratories, and study outlets for many students. Northeastern A M has one of the best all-around academic programs that can be found any place in mid-America and also has one of the best extracurricular programs for students that is available in any junior college. Of course, students are going to college during this day and age! Northeastern A M would like for the student to give serious consider- ation to this college as his college home. The college is small enough to give the student personal attention and to know him, yet large enough to have a wide variety of curricular offerings. Northeastern A M welcomes the student. Sincerely, oY, Bruce G. Carter President
