The activities of the Sports Club include learning, playing, and seeing all types of sports, Its purpose is to teach sports from the players' and the fans' angle, and to teach sportsmanship, democracy, and improve the scholastic spirit of Manchester' High School in respect to all the players, officials, and fans. The cluh's aim is to have the students be- come socially at ease and acquainted with familiar steps in dancing. There is one other activity planned during the year other than the regular club peri- ods, this being a dance in the high school gym open to all students and friends this year. The officers of the club are the following: Betty Jane Ream, president, Dorothy Reese, vice-president, Anna Mae Bentz, secretary, Kenneth Strine, treasurer, Miss Joanne Freestone, Mrs. Roslyn King, and Mr. Vililliam A.
