f-3 ii I1 :lb GTR Hawaiian Paradise Prom Theme On May 8, 1982, approximately two hundred people attended the Ju- niorf Senior Prom, which was held at the Young Men's Institute in Rich- mond. The theme of the prom was Hawaiian Paradise. The theme song was Open Arms by Journey. The band Spectra entertained the guests from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Spectra is a local band, which is head- ed by Northeastern graduate, Steve Mathews. The king and queen were crowned at 11:00 p.m. Dave Bartram and Da- mita Hawkins were chosen as royalty for the annual event. Juniors Mary Toschlog and Kevin Nicholson had the honors of crowning the king and queen. Af Seniors Damita Hawkins and Dave Bar- tram reign as king and queen for the 1982 Jr.f Sr. Prom.
