Dedication X is li ,Ss To Mr. John Michaels, chief custodian of Northeastern High School, the senior class of 1955 respectfully dedicates The Cru- cible of June l955. Mr. Michaels has been chief custodian of this school for nearly thirty years.Duringthat time, Northeastern has established a re- putation for being one of the cleanest and best cared for public buildings in the city of Detroit. Because Mr. Michaels has always assumed more than his full share of work, because he has always been unfailingly courteous to students and teachers alike, because he has served as a shining example of how a person may do his level best at whatever work he selects, we accord him honor as he retires from active service in his seventleth year. Generations of graduates remember him as an institution and an inspiration. In fond gratitude, and with sincere wishes for many continued years of health and happiness, we dedicate to Mr. John Michaels this our yearbook of .Tune 1955.
