E Q.. The Speech Department and the Tiger Band are important to the lives of many students on campus. Participation in the dramatic product- ions attracts many hopeful actors to the stage, and the productions themselves provide entertainment for people at Northeast and in the sur- rounding community. The Tiger Band is a valuable necessity to Northeast. It cooperates with the cheerleaders and students at pep rallies and performs magnificent half time shows at the football games. Participating in clubs is a vital part of the HAPPENINGS to many at Northeast. Students attend meetings to plan different activities to help raise money for their particular club. Some of these activities range from selling corsages for the homecoming game, presenting a Gong Show, and setting up different booths during homecom- ing week. Whatever may be their way of making money, club members have an enjoyable time working as a group and sharing their planned activities with other clubs.
