Jones, a master architect in the building of the Northeast Mississippi Junior College, this 1955 TORCH is re- spectfully dedicated by the editorial board and the students in accla- mation of his progressive ambition to create an ideal junior college for the citizens of northeast Mississippi. Guiding the administrative staff and the faculty with quiet efficiency, Dr. .Tones has always at heart the desire to give to the students at Northeast the best educa- tional preparation for the practical demands of their future lives. For his farsightedness, his educational acumen, his personal in- terest in all phases of this junior college, this edition of the TORCH seeks to honor Dr. Jones as a token of the gratitude which the faculty the student body, and the junior college community feel for him.
