Each group has the follow- ing officers: president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, reporter, sergeant- at-arms, and student council representative. The home room of Northeast Junior High School serves a two-fold purpose. Through it all the business of the school is transacted and practically all of the school life of the school comes through this organization. All the affairs of the school such as banking, the selling of tickets, the collec- tion of money for charity, or other purposes, and any other business that might come up in the student body is done by this organization. Practically all of the home rooms, sometime during the year, have several social events such as programs, parties, and picnics. The student will remember with great pleasure, the Thanksgiving basket which was sent to some poor family, the Christmas box or tree Where names were exchanged for presents, and the Valentine box. Equally popular were the picnics and the Weiner roast in the early fall or spring.
