P ATRICIA MCGUIRK The Class of '27 The future Freshmen of Northeast, the Class of '27, look back with pride upon a year in which they have shown so many evidences of their ability to carry on and upward the banner of the school. During this year they have freely participated in all the activities of the school. Their representatives are among those on the athletic teams, the honor rolls, the student council, publication staffs, and on every body which is in any way ad- vancing the cause of Northeast Junior High. Their political and governing abilities were plainlv shown When, not to be out- done by theFreshmen, they elected their own officers this year for the first time in the history of the school. In the journalistic field, seventh-grade staff members have been selected to cai- ry on the Work of the HI-LITE, started by the class of '26. Freshmen berths on the teams have been hotly contested by the Seventh-Graders, Whose fight and determined efforts to displace the upper-classnien give promise of splendid teams in 1927. In places of responsibility they have shown the dependability and originality which it takes to advance and to creditably perform a task. . class with such promise and high asperations is Without doubt composed of individuals vvho can co-operate or alone undertake enterprizes similar to, and per- haps exceeding those, conducted by the Freshman this year.
