C. Cohlmeyer, basketball coach, and L. L. VVarren, track coach. Junior Highls basketball record includes two championships, a tie for cham- pionship, and a second place in four years of competition. During this time the Purple basketball teams won thirty-six games and lost six in junior High com- petition. A total score of 1064 points was amassed as compared with the 588 points scored by the opposing teams, an average of 29.5 points to their opponents l6.3 points. The Junior cinder teams have as capably upheld the standards of the school in their division of competition. During the three years under Coach Warren, they have won two championships and a second place in the indoor meets, and a championship and a second place in the outdoor competition. They have won eleven meets and lost four, three of which went to Central the first season. The remaining defeat was the M. U.-K. U. indoor meet lost this year through the disqualification of both junior High sprinters. The wearers of the Purple hold fourteen of the twenty-three Junior High records. L U El Nz'ne'!y-niizc
