'xg R9 C419 if Qi'?gQ?'D-'fl Lf qhe Junior Jubilee February 26, the night of the Jubilee! Junior High had been running at high tension for Weeks preparing for this event of the year and the work seemed well repaid by the crowds who gathered to take part in the merry-making. People came in couples, squads, and companies. They filled the auditorium to capacity three times for the main shows and kept the sideshows busy display- ing their wares up to the last minute. The one-hundred or more entertainers taking part outdid themselves to make the main show this year the best in the history of the Jubilee. The Tumbling Act presented by the boys' gym classes was conducted with snap and precision. The Buccaneer Dance was excellent throughout and showed the results of long practice. Music lovers enjoyed a rare treat in the Music Master numbers, and something out of the usual run was the Seven Ages of Women which depicted the cycle of a vvoman's life and these together with Rip Van Wi11kle's Dream with its clever dances, Won great favor. The sideshovvs also played their part in making the jubilee a success. More than eleven thousand tickets were sold. The visitors were eager to see the Ani- mated Comics, Chicken Debate, Madame X, Duck Club, Cake Walla, Electrical Galli-Curci, Modern Mrs. Wiggs, Picture Show, One-Act Farce Prize Packa e : g Booth, and the Novelty Shop. The candy girls, the pop stand, and the checking stands did unusually well. The great success of the Jubilee was due to the Whole hearted support of pupils, teachers, and the community. The receipts, amounting to 251,550 will be used to help furnish Junior High's beautiful new home. Ninety-five
