German Club The German Club is an organization that was established for students who are interested in broadening their knowl- edge of Germany's Language and traditions. The club also strives to develop interest in the culture of Germany. Members hear guest speakers, watch films, and plan new projects at their meetings, held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. As a school service project, German club sponsored the Icee booth at Northeastis car- nival. J - fy Lcitin Club Students interested in the culture and languages of an- cient Greece and Italy often join Northeastls Latin Club which is a chapter of the national Junior Classical League. ,, Latin Club programs often include films or skits and a great deal of planning for the JCL Forum in the spring. School projects include sponsoring a carnival booth and selling candied apples after school. A Roman banquet is held annually to conclude the school year.
