Concert Choir Has Varied Accomplishments, 'ilk Mr. Stonecipher 202 The Concert Choir, under the direction of Dale Stonecipher, is an organization with many purposes. Not only does it provide excellent programs for the student body and various civic groups, but it also deals with music education. The Choral Department is known for vitality and exceptional talent and is often mistaken for a college choir because of its mature sound. All types of music in many different languages are included in the Choiris repertory. In addition, music the- ory and appreciation are a part of the year's course. The annual Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter assemblies are but a part of the Choiris performance schedule. It also presents the Spring Concert, the musical, and pro- grams at churches and clubs in St. Petersburg. The curriculum of this class is designed to stimulate the studentis interest in music. The high quality of the Concert Choir is an indication of the hard work on the part of Mr. Stonecipher and the group to combine inter- est and ability into such a polished and satisfying product.
