'aw Coach Phillips keeps the girls busy. gi The girls' swimming team for 1960, composed mainly of underclassmen, improved to such an ex- tent during the season that the coaches have visions of great accomplishments in the coming years. As- sistant Coach Peggy Phillips, working under the direction of Coach Allen, did a fine iob in getting the girls ready for the tough schedule they were up against. Barbara Cooper, Northeast's All-Everything in swimming, closed out her high school competi- tion in great form, leaving a vacancy which will be very hard to fill next year.
