The staff has worked hard to make this the best yearbook yet. As you look through the pages of the LOG, pay attention to the new ideas: a three-color cover, color pictures, spot color, fold-out pages, short pages, run- ning headlines, and so many other new features. Look carefully at the photo- graphs. Check the layouts. Study the planning. We know you will enioy the book and agree with us when we say, This is Northeast's finest. ADVISOR Mr. Paul Jenkins . NORTHEAST VIKING BAND fitx The H2-member Viking Band planned several new activities this year, but first and foremost was the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D. C. All the band's funds were directed toward tl1iS trip, and, as a result, the Scarlet and Cream group seemed to do very little on any other proiects. However, the band gave a concert and entered contests in which the ensemble pulled through with its usual high success. trgjfi- .,, , A. 'H Usa' OFFICERS lst Row, L. to R.: Eleanor Stockey, 2nd Lt.
