The Nor'easter, traditionally always on the spot when something happens, upheld the high standards of previous years by giving the students of Northeast a complete coverage of news, sports, and tea- tures throughout the 1959-1960 school year. To the usual high quality, Editor-in-Chief Carolyn Hiney added many new ideas, such as increas- ing the size of the pages and using a new, modern name plate, to make this year's Nor'easter the best in the school's history. Congratu- lations to Carolyn and her staff for giving us a paper we can all be proud to call our own-the Nor'easter. The staff has worked hard to make this the best yearbook yet. As you look through the pages of the LOG, pay attention to the new ideas: a three-color cover, color pictures, spot color, fold-out pages, short pages, run- ning headlines, and so many other new features. Look carefully at the photo- graphs. Check the layouts. Study the planning. We know you will enioy the book and agree with us when we say, This is Northeast's finest. ADVISOR Mr. Paul Jenkins .
