S W TREASURER Robert Amley my g PARLIAMENTARIAN Barbara Cooper The Student Council, the governing body of the school, lists many impressive achievements for the year, beginning with its annual Get Acquainted Dance. The council acted as hosts for the district convention. A cafeteria committee was formed to study the lunch programs of other schools and compare their programs to ours. The committee re- commendations included a new method of service which would give all students a choice of meats, vegetables, and deserts. Work was begun on a schoolwide project of bringing a foreign student to Northeast. The new policy of having a weekly slogan placed in every homeroom was begun. Along with its regular work with clubs, grounds, and school spirit, the Student Council has had a very busy and profitable year. MR- CRUM MISS STAMPER
