The 1958 Girl's Swimming Team, under the fine coaching of Mr. Edward Allen, swam to a very successful undefeated season. With the aid of two state champions, and several conference and city champs, our girls proved their ability to win by setting and breaking records throughout the aquatic season. The majority of the team qualified for the state finals in which they displayed their best timed performances. Under the watchful eye of Coach Allen, each member is working hard to cut her time in order to achieve their ultimate goal of winning the state meet. Boyd' TENNIS TEAM This spring the 1958 boys' team, coached by Mr. Lee Benjamin, fared well on the courts. The team did much better this year, because of the return of several lettermen from last year who were both net wise and racquet wise. Congratulations to Mr. Benic- min and his fine squad!
