Coach Ed Allen has done a tremendous job turning out this highly spirited team that came through with a winning season. Bob Labrant and Bob Zaizer were our outstanding freestyle sprinters, Bucky Merritt, our leading back- stroker, Len Scipioni our breaststroker, Jim Gaver and Frank Walther, able distance freestylers, Bob Taylor our butterfly and individual medley man and Bill Reid and Roger Larson, divers. With only five seniors graduating, and half the team listed as sophomores, the future looks very bright for Northeast in the aquatic picture. l-lard Work and Horseplay was the keynote of these chlo- rine-cutters . . . very happy with the turnouts at the meets . . . Have you bought a season ticket yet? . . . Got any ads for the program . . . Oh, those trips to Bartow and Coral Gables! We hope to put four or five boys into the state meet. A little damp but awfully happy, these swimmers achieved a successful season under coach Allen.
