Their first performance was the Christmas Concert, in which they joined the members of the other choruses. They presented a marvelous Easter Program, were featured in the Spring Concert, and partici- pated in the Festival of Song. All in all, the A Cappella Choir is an example of what can be accomplished through skillful direction, and good musicianship. ix 4 si 3 r MISS DOROTHY CLONTS Director of Vocal Music Recognition should be given to A Cappella Robe Chair- men Joyce Huffer and Larry Hawkins, to Lynn Swanson, Student Director, and Corley Freck, Publicity Chairman. This year, The Advanced Girls Glee Club has been very active, and has performed in several programs. The ' first of these was the Thanksgiving assembly, for which 'if the girls practiced diligently with fine results. ln addition to singing in the Christmas Concert, they made their own dresses for this event. The Spring Concert, and the Festival of Song are also on their list of accom- plishments. One can see how much time and effort were consumed in preparation for these performances. ban.
