To the Members of the Class of January, 1941: I extend to you my hearty congratulations on the completion of this very important part. of your life's training. ln my personal association with you, I have con- stantly endeavored to stress understanding and intelligent reasoning. The world today needs trained men, and I am sure there is going to be a still greater need for them in the future. The man best fitted is the one who not only pre- pares himself for a responsibility, but also continues to improve himself, that his fitness may undergo constant growth to keep pace with the world's needs.
