HE terms roll around all too quickly and again we must bid farewell to a fine group of North- easters, the class of June, I933. You face the future with eagerness, I am sure, to earn your place in the sun. Let me urge each of you to continue to study. If you cannot go to college, enroll in some of the evening classes so many of which are now available. For every de- sirable position there are today many applicants and only those who are well prepared can hope to obtain advancement. I shall cherish many pleasant memories of this class, and I hope, as the years pass by, that each of you will maintain a personal contact with Northeast. This is your school, not only now, but as long as you live. You have helped make its history, and we, your teachers, are confident that you will do your share in maintaining the high reputation of its graduates. THEODORE S. HE time of passing of a graduating class is fraught with ioyful anticipations of the future and reluctant goodbyes to the pleasant past. lt seems to be the natural evolution of a man who is progressive, that at definite periods of his life he must forsake those paths with which he is familiar and strike off in a new way of his own making. Pick the direction of your path carefully, develop a sense of relative values, for all that glitters is not gold , and let your ultimate aim in life be service to your fellow-men, thus enriching your own. Each member of this graduating class goes forth into the world a marked man, a North- easter . . . The tradition of this old school looks to you to perpetuate her highest ideals, as you honor yourself you honor your school. Strive earnestly, therefore, to be worthy of the trust placed upon you. With the words of the immortal Franklin, I bid you goodbye and good luck. Employ thy time well if thou meanest to gain leisure. Since thou art not sure of a minute, throw not away an hour. HAROLD M .
