The show Q Y 5. was opened by our president, Joseph Clements Lucke, who, with his cordial welcoming f - address, made every one feel more at home. In fact, John Hartranft even felt like ligifj-'i taking off his shoes to relieve his pet corn, but circumstances would hardly permit f-- 4 such comfort. After the audience had finished discussing J. Clements' idiosyncrasies, f QF, . an admirable class- history was recited by the big butter and egg man of our class, Thomas Asco H.arvey. Between Harvey's as it were's, the audience thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Zeigler's little rascals and Mr. Beidler's own Outline of History. Next on the program was the class poem by Harry Stringbean Lance, in which our four or more years at Northeast were well summed up in a very enter' taining manner. Following Harry to the spotlight, our class prophet, Bill Frank, told each one of us what we could expect from the future, even prophecying that one of our number was destined to lead a dog's life, as it were. Then came the big thrill of the evening with the presentation of knockers and, leading the way, were those two famous exponents of the histrionic art, Joseph Dan Levin and Andrew Collie Batejan, who presented the Academic knockers between acts of that marvelous Alaskan melodrama, The Shooting of Dan McGrew, starring Joe Levin, as Dan himself, and Andy Batejan, as none other than the Ladyf that-isfknown-asfLou. With the departure of these two Irishmen, Harry Bridget Flynn and Jeremiah Henry Brode Hazel Eleanor Kean presented the Mechanic Arts dirt, while Bouncing Ray Lynn and Johnny Corus Hartranft gave the Commerf cials their beating, especially Joseph C. Lucke. Bringing up the rear, Bill Imhof and Herb Xylophone Smith gave away all the Industrial boys' secrets, especially those of a certain young man who received a Camden token. Hardly had those comedians 'finished their act, than the audience had the pleasure of hearing Rube Goldberg's only rival in the person of our class censor, Nicholas J. Costanzo, who presented our honor men with loving cups and honors that they had never dreamed of before and, in his own inimitable manner, wished each one the best of luck in his future endeavorments.
