Each day of the week is specified for a certain language. At the end of each language day, a person, whose costume best represents his language is chosen. Contests are held and prizes are given during the week. At one of the French Club meetings they had a very interesting speaker from the Peace Corps. They also had a Halloween Costume Party. Speech Department Displays Talent, Play Pro class enjoys coke party given to first hour which bought the most yearbooks. Cheers! The Northeast Speech Department has brought back many honors this year from state tourna- ments. In Alva they took Sweepstakes, and at Panhandle A M they won the highest number of points for individual events. Mr. Dennis Winfield, our new speech teacher, and, in fact all of Northeast, has something here of which to be proud. This fine group of actors has presented many enjoyable skits and plays to the student body.
