BARN! suPERlN'r:NDlN'r To the Seniors and Students of Northeast: To present accurately and adequately the academic and non-academic phases of life at Northeast, to present the greatest number of students and activities than ever before pictured, and to display content in the most at- tractive manner-all of these combined to form our goal for the '59 Nordlys. From this wedding of the best in purpose, then, has our current theme, The Many Faces of Northeast High, been born. In attempting to promote this idea, the staff has add- ed pictures of more students engaged in more activities, a new multiple-picture beauty section, and sparkling artistic sketches throughout. Though keenly aware of its responsibilities in cover- ing the activities to each student's satisfaction, the staff must acknowledge the fact that some late spring events which occurred after the Nordlys went to press have not been included, a fact which we sincerely regret. To the students who so patiently waited in line to have their pictures made, to the faculty, and especially to the staff members who hurried through the halls to Room 211 throughout the year goes the credit for a job well done.
