Conn ci! .xdcfiuified The Student Council was organized in I937 with Miss Jose- phine Bell asithe first sponsor. This year the Council has two spon- sors, Miss Sue Harrod, who works with the iunior high students, and Mr.,J. A. Wiles, who works with the senior high. The Council has had the full support ofthe student body in or- ganizing the hall proctors, a group of boys and girls who help speed up traffic in Northeast's busy corridors. Pictures on the activity pages of the Nordlys are scenes that prove the success of the Mixers. The idea of actual student government is carried out at the polls on election doy for Student Council officers. The record-player, which the Council bought this year, has needed entertainment during the crowded lunch period. of pins for council members have been flying about.
