Spon- 'sored by the American Field Service, Selma flew from Rio de Janeiro to Miami and arrived here in Kansas City on September 5, 1962, by plane. Besides her mother and father, who teaches iournalism at the university in her city, Selma has three brothers and one sister. Selma is very fond of swimming, and enioys listen- ing to records. Coca-Cola, ice cream, potatoes with ketchup, and hamburgers rank high on her list of favorite foods. Upon returning to her country, Selma hopes to con- tinue her education and earn a degree in law. We are all indebted to Selma for a wonderful year and for spreading her influence of world communication and peace.
