JUNIORS 1959 So your Junior year is over. How did you like it? “Oh, it was no different,” you’re probably thinking. Well, let me tell you all about it. As you approached your next-to-the-last year in this merciless institution of learning, you were un- doubtedly possessed with a feeling of superiority at having achieved at last that enviable position of being a JUNIOR! But, alas! You were soon rudely awakened to the cold, hard reality of your highly inferior state, as a proud Senior gave you a shove, “Out of the way, Junior!” Then, as you had almost resigned yourself to the fact that you must exist as an underdog for one more year, things began to pick up. You noticed for the first time the absurd immaturity of Fresh- men and Sophomores. You enjoyed more frequent informal chats with your teachers. You elected Class Officers, ordered your Senior rings, and en- joyed that special night of the Junior-Senior Prom. The tears you shed for your graduating friends, however, were only a farce; for deep down inside you were chuckling, wondering what it would be like to say, “Out of the way, Junior!” 16 -------------------------- Walt Zubcr President Dick Shores Vice President Linda Stamper Giftorian Janice Clevenger Secretary V.
