Of the various activities which take place during this period, the reading of the bulletin ranks first. This enables the adminis- tration, organizations, and faculty to convey the news of the special activities of the day as well as coming social events, club meetings, and athletic contests. Each group elects officers to conduct and preside over the homeroom business. This in- cludes electing student council representatives, collecting money for various causes and elect- ing the junior and senior class officers. At various times throughout the year, the homerooms are visited by students selling the school paper, the yearbook, and tickets for such school events as the All-School Show, Spring Play, and athletic contests.
