A. mothers to make clothing for the Mutual Help Organization. P. T. A. ponsors Many School Activities 0 The Parent-Teachers Association is one of the few organizations which have branches in every school of the United States. At North- east the P.-T.A. sponsors student activities such as the Junior-Senior Dance, and many com- munity projects such as Mutual Help. Each homeroom has a P.-T.A. room mother to Work with it and give information on Worthwhile happenings. At night meetings, subjects perti- 14 nent to the welfare of school and home life are discussed by a speaker well acquainted with his topic. 9 A Kickoff dinner, held in the school cafe- teria, started this year's P.-T.A. membership drive off wich a bang. Well attended by both parents and teachers, the dinner gave promise of a successful year for all.
