5 Junior Class Prepares for 0 Our school career can be compared to a journey, the road of which winds about the disappointments and the joys of life. As we reached our high school years, we had only be- gun our journey, and the road ahead was per- ilous, curving sharply about the steep grades. In our remaining year, we shall follow the road over its most difficult course, reaching for the high plateau of our Senior year. As freshmen we began our journey. We were fearful of the long road, but we accepted it without question. Our time was occupied with books, dreams, and laughter. We began to plan our lives and make decisions of our own. Then we became sophomores. We considered ourselves more important citizens, for we pos- sessed greater freedom. When the thrill of being upperclassmen was at last ours, we became aware of a world that we should help dominate. The memory of the secrets, fun, and friendships that we shared 16 deepened should beg' row we sho We drea at our man the Junior tion for the-T ior rings. ij 9 We have ward -to oun ia the foots ceded us, any to Northeasj 0 When wi the last wee aware of tli many respon With higl for 1954 wi the rank of i 1 k Seniors '53 Marilyn Jean Carpenter Victor Carl Caruso Imogene Marie cafwile Joseph Richard Caskey Mary Margaret Cattleman Sandra Ellen Cates Mildred Lucille Champion Dorothy Marie Clark Patricia Jane Clark Phyllis Anne Clark William Lee Clow Eilene Esther Coen Angeline Colletti Joyce Colley Kenneth Wayne Collins Donna Cordell Frank Thomas Corsentino Forrest Markwell Couch Gerald Wayne Courtney Barbara Ruth Cox Dorothy Joanna Cox Perry Dale Cox Elton Randolph Craig Deoline Elizabeth Cramer Eugene Phelps Cross Clifford L.
