Here the home room bulletin acquaints the student with the daily activities of the school, and it is here that many group and individual problems are dis- cussed and disposed of. The Home Room itself is a democratic or- ganization, for it Works as a small community council, with a president presiding over each session, a secretary taking the attendance, and a treasurer receiving all money due the school. Each separate unit is represented in the school legislature-the student council-by a repre- sentative who is elected by the home room and Whose duty it is to keep his home room in- formed on all important issues discussed at each student council meeting. The adviser is a member of the faculty. He tries to aid each individual in finding his special place in the life of the school. These democratic units, though small in size, are very important organizations in our school: for if they are managed successfully, they become the training ground for democ- racy. l Io Ann Pt vala 1 selling Courier subscriptions in Home Room 3. fsopt A regular home-Joom meeting. 3.
