MR. FRANK E. CHAFFEE, better known as Pop to his students, has finished with flying colors his thirty-first year with Northeast. Pop will not return to us in September, as he has done before, but will retire with a record unsurpassed by none other in Kan- sas City. The A Cappella, a choir of specially selected voices, has done some splendid work this year. They have sung for numerous churches, entertainments and assemblies. The Solo Contest, a long anticipated event, was an outstand- ing success this year, with more than thirty contestants entering. We would like to take this opportunity to wish Pop the very best-we know he'll get it!!
