To you, Sergeant Wood, we render a lasting salute in accordance with your fine teachings, sportsmanship, and accomplishments, and a sincere wish for your luck and success with R. O. T. C. next year and the years to come. The Northeast Battalion was ably commanded this year by Major Richard Harrington. Major Harrington has always been an eHicient R. O. T. C. cadet. He was promoted to Ser- geant in his second year, and was made a Second Lieutenant last year when he was a Senior I. This year he rose from the rank of Second Lieutenant to the rank of Major which he now holds.
