ORTHEAST HIGH SCHOOL was granted a charter to the National Honor Society on May 21, 1923. The four purposes of this society are to promote scholarship, leadership, character and service, among the high school students. Only the most outstanding students of the Junior and Senior classes are eligible for this society. Ten per cent of the present graduating class and five Juniors usually receive this honor. This year 44 Seniors and 5 Juniors were granted bids to this society. To be a member of this society is the highest honor that can be bestowed on a student. FACULTY COMMITTEE Charles H.
