DEVELOPING BOYS AND GIRLS . . . The primary function of Northeast Junior High lies in the academic development of students. The administration and faculty work with the parents in bringing this goal into actuality. What better place to begin this brief portrait of our school than at the academic level. The individual student is encouraged to perform on his own when it is for his betterment. But there exist many situations when it is necessary that the teacher be ready, willing and capable of rendering his help and guidance. This skillful and helpful aid is accessible to the student in all the academic subjects, whether they be mathematics, science, language or social studies. 76
