Other seasonal functions are cer, tennis, and swimming. The YMCA's facilities include an rnpic-sized swimming pool, weight 3 m, activity rooms, and a playing field football, baseball, and soccer. Expansion is always in the making he YMCA. ln the near future they e to increase tennis and swimming lities. Other projects are undecided his time but are in plans for the future. Student opinions of the YMCA range from good to better. junior Ann Jacob, a gymnastics instructor, said that the Y is a good place to spend extra time. lt keeps a lot of kids out of trouble, she said. The YMCA's primary objective is to teach kids new things. The organiza- tion does not promote winning as much as learning. lt is not as important to win as it is to learn, a spokesman for the Y said.
