The team consisted of twelve players with Laura Wrenn and Debra Barham as co-captains. Three of the varsity girls were ranked in the top twenty in the conference. Coach Owens felt that everyone on the team improved as the season progressed. Because the team lost only three seniors, there will be many experienced wrestlers returning.
