Before and after classes, students of North visit the shrine of Our lady of Fatima. Because of the environments within our Oblate school, a deep love for The Blessed Virgin has been in- stilled in us. The sight of N. C. students praying before Our Lady's statue in the driveway is not unusual to the many people who pass by North every day. Our Lady's statue provides the first greeting to the students who enter school from the el or the 56 trolley. In 1949, the shrine to Our Lady of Fatima was erected by the Alumni Association as a memorial to those of our graduates who made the supreme sacrifice in World War Il. This grotto has always- been close to our hearts because of the faith of those men whom it represents. ,....A

FRANCIS FROST Algebra, History Mathematics We, the students of Northeast Catholic, consider the faculty not only as our teachers, but also as our spiritual fathers, our coaches, and our moderators. Acting as spiritual guides is their greatest function, for without their help we would probably fall by the wayside. Somehow, with the help of God, they accomplish their task of trying to instill some knowledge into our minds.
