Rehgfbus Supenbrs FRANCIS DE SALES. . .After four years under the patient guidance of the Oblates, we have obtained an astute knowledge of the Salesian way of life. They have in- stilled into us a devout love for God and Mary, His Mother, and a deep regard for the rights of our fellow man. By their teaching we have been prepared for our future, not only in this earthly life, but, more important, they have taught us by word and example the primary end for which we have been created. Although cen- turies have passed since his death, St. Francis de Sales and his spirit still live in the every day life of the Oblate Fathers. They have dedicated their lives to God and to the teaching of His children. We shall never forget them and their work in our prayers. FATHER BALDUCELLI The Very Reverend Dominic Balducelli, who resides in Rome, is the Superior General of the Oblates. The spirit of this fine priest we find reflected in all the Oblate Fathers. We are looking forward to a visit from Father during the next school year. FATH Canon J. Francis Tucker . . . To the first American Oblate, North must seem like home for he conducted our wonderful retreats for twenty years. He is now at Monte Carlo, Monaco, and we under- stand that he is as well loved there as at North. I . xl

Although Father is a graduate of West Catholic, he was received with a spirit of kindly good will during his tour of inspection. Ublafes of Sf. Francik de Sales FATHER LAWRENCE KNEBELS is the Religious Superior of our Oblate teachers. Patience and understanding are virtues, and Father is a very virtuous priest. He makes use of these virtues in instructing us in the intricacies of Algebra. THE VERY REVEREND WILLIAM D BUCKLEY is the provincial of the Oblates in America Father's headquarters are in nearby Wllmmg ton.
