ound Ill M1714 and Body . . . Useful Miken: THE SEAL OF N.E.C.H.S. is the standard under which we spent four years of our high school education. Its meaning impresses us for every action we perform is turned into a prayer. The cross on the shield is significant of a crusader in search of his goal, our goal is to be a Catholic gentleman with a good moral life. The Vive Jesus radiating above reminds us of Christ inspiring us and leading us on with the help of His grace. The motto below the shield, Tenui nec Dimittam. . . . I have it and I shall not let it go . . . expresses our feelings toward our school, the spirit of loyalty with which we regard it, the determination we have acquired, the education we have found, the religious development that has been ours. Let it always remind us of our school and forever be our guide.
