We have chosen hands as the theme for our 1965 Le Nord-Est. As children, protective hands led us; as adolescents, helping hands guide us; and as adults, we will find our¬ selves relying solely on our own hands to lead us forward. The late John F. Kennedy said, . . Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans . . We are an integral part of this new generation of Americans. To us the torch symbolizes dreams for accomplishments of future success. The degree of accomplishment will be measured greatly by the firmness with which we hold to our torch. Let us now, each and every one, grasp solely with our own hands our own particular torch, leading ourselves forward to our own dreams and our own accomplishments. Editor
