I know you will look back upon these past twelve years with fond memories as the years go by. We on the Board have tried to give you the best facilities and the best faculty our limited resources could provide. I am aware of our shortcomings, but also I am proud of our curricula and our teachers, most of. whom have stayed with us for a number of years. They have stayed, not because of the best conditions and the best emolument there is offered, but because they are fond of the community and because of the high quality of the raw material—you, the students—they have had to work with. Your success at Northeast and your future successes shall be the monuments to our achievements as members of the Board. Besides providing you with a sound basic education, I hope we have also engraved in your character a love of school, a love of community and a love of country that will guide you through this tumultuous space age. Good luck in your future endeavors! Walter A. Kolaga President 7

Administration To the Class of ’65 In athletics, we often read about the All-American who succeeds because he is capable of a second effort’’ when he is about to be stopped just short of the goal line. We say he has great desire”. Imagine, if you will, a large sign on the front lawn which reads This is Northeast Bradford. It Is the Center of the Earth. Beginning From Here, You Can Go Anywhere.” This can be true for you if you are willing to give that second effort”. You can be an All-American in whatever you choose to become if you have enough desire”. The road to success and happiness is seldom easy but the result is worth the effort. Best wishes to all of you always. Supervising Principal MR. JACOB HENNIP B.S., Mansfield State College M.Ed., Pennsylvania State University 8
