BACKROADS 1983 BACKROADS . . . Northeastls first annual in eight years. The task of organizing this memory album would be a great task to un- dertake, but with a lot of hard work and de- termination we knew this dream would be- come a reality for the students of Northeast. The first step would be to find a group of students who were willing to put forth the time and effort. A sponsor was found, co- editors were named and the staff was gath- ered. This group of people who called them- selves Northeastfs annual staff would grow close in the months that followed. The long hours spent in the library choosing pictures and gathering copy would not be all the ac- tivities encountered by the staff. A picture- taking trip to DeSoto Falls and a swimming party in the spring were some of the fun things we did. Now, all the work is finished and the evi- dence of all their efforts are presented to you in BACKROADS 1983. All the headaches, sleepness nights, gripe sessions and at time panic . . . have all been worth it!
