1967 1968 1969 1970 1971 STEVE MCFALL James B. Allen Award The James B. Allen Award was established in 1967 in honor of the late U.S. Senator James Allen. Voted on annually by the faculty and administration, the Award goes to the most outstanding sophomore student. This year's recipient, Steve McFall exhibited outstanding leadership qualities in his responsibilities as S.G.A. President. He was instrumental in promoting and overseeing the first ever Miss Northeast State beauty pageant. Popular among his classmates, Steve was voted a sophomore Class Favorite. Following a precedent set by his brother Stanley, a James B. Allen Award recipient in 1978, Steve joins Cheryl and Melinda Gorham in becoming the second member of one family to win the James B. Allen Award. JAMES B.
