Tournament Features Champs The Northampton Chess Club was organized in 1965 for the furtherance of the game of chess. To determine the champion, the club conducts a tournament then honors the winner by awarding him a plaque and by having his name inscribed on the permanent plaque that is on display in the trophy case.
