■ SUPERINTENDENT ' S MESSAGE I am happy to greet you and to prepare this statement for your 1960-1961 Annual. Graduation from high school marks only a beginning in the training so essential for satis¬ fied living and working toward loftier plateaus of excellence. If we want to live a life full of satisfactions for ourselves and for our loved ones, friends, and neighbors, we shall strive for excellence in all our work. Our dreams will be inspirations, our goals will be majestic ideals, and our day-to-day deeds will be havens of contentment. T o travel upward to such plateaus has ever been the longing of great souls. Their feats have given us the refining fires out of which have grown human skills, understandings, and compassions.
