SENIORS The Class of ' 61 T ' was fall of fifty-six, not fifty-eight, When from each separate hole and hidden grate, As plebes we all came swarming struck with fear, And entered through the gates of halls so dear. We were outclassed by fifty-seven ' s crew, Though when we roamed the halls the Seniors flew. Pity to the youngest class we spare, For we recall the signs we had to wear. Five years our class has played its many parts, Sharing the burdens within the teachers’ hearts. We ' ve stuck together like oysters on a rock; If N. H. S. forgets us -- what a shock! As now we say farewell with hidden tears, We step into the world with hopes and fears. M.M. and P.P.
