PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE GREETINGS TO THE CLASS OF 1962 My young friends of the Class of 1962; I am, as usual, happy to congratulate you upon your ac¬ complishments made while a member of the Northampton County High School Family. You have been worthy members, and we look forward to you carrying this same characteristic with you as you leave these halls. Today, you are entering the most perilous period in American history. At stake, are the funda¬ mental freedoms of all peoples, but we feel that if other young Americans have the consideration, understanding, generosity, and group unity that you have; tomorrow’s world will be one of peace and brotherly love for all man kind. Just as you have been interested in your school; so should you be interested in your neighbors of the world--who are being brought nearer to you each day. If civilization is to continue, a new world government must be built by you upon ideals that all peoples must be free to share fully and equally in this government. Let me again urge you to make with care your future plans because your world will be seeking men and women who, as a result of careful planning, can produce with excellency. Now, as you leave us; may God grant you wisdom, knowledge, and the determination that will enable you to take your rightful places along with other American citizens who are striving to make this Land, one worthy of such men and women that we trust you will be.
